The Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF) announced two series of events aimed to develop professional skills in a variety of areas. Both series will run throughout 2026 in different settings.
According to their press release, one of the series titled “Lunch and Learn” will consist of a one-hour session from noon until 1 PM. Each session will be held in the MCCF building, which is located at 119 East Main Street in Crawfordsville. Multiple speakers will present different topics ranging from grant underwriting for nonprofits, to the essentials of running effective meetings. All Lunch and Learn sessions are free. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.
The other series, titled “Nonprofit Learning”, involves extensive hands-on experiences in workshops taught by local experts. Topics highlighted include brand writing, fundraising, and strategic planning. All workshops will be held at the Hoosier Heartland State Bank Success Center located near Runnings in Crawfordsville. A $25 fee is required, and lunch is provided.
